Diego Lopez is set to leave Real Madrid, with Napoli, Monaco and Chelsea all interested in snapping up the goalkeeper, according to Spanish daily Marca.

Los Blancos, who are on the verge of signing Costa Rica’s World Cup hero Keylor Navas from fellow La Liga outfit Levante, also have Iker Casillas in their ranks.

And although Lopez wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu to fight for his place, it is believed that the Champions League winners are pushing the custodian out of the club.

Real Madrid, who held a meeting with the player’s agent on Wednesday, want to make the exit smooth by paying all of Lopez’s contractual dues and allowing him to sign for any club of his liking.

However, the capital club want the situation to sort out quickly as Navas will not be presented until Lopez leaves, with Real Madrid planning on unveiling the Costa Rican on Monday.

Monaco are favourites to sign Lopez, who has a further three years left on his current contract with the Spanish giants, but Napoli and Chelsea are close behind.

Jose Mourinho’s side will go full throttle to sign the 32-year-old if they manage to offload Petr Cech to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
