Tottenham youngster Tom Carroll has insisted that their pre-season match against Celtic will prove to be a good challenge for his team.

The match, scheduled to be played in the city of Helsinki on Saturday, will be the Lilywhites' fourth pre-season fixture. And the striker believes that it has the potential to turn out to be something different than the matches played in the United States.

"We now go on to the game in Helsinki", Carroll told his club's official site.

"Celtic are a good side so it will be a good challenge for the lads."

Mauricio Pochettino's side played three matches in the US, winning two and drawing one.

However, the 22-year-old, who was out on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season, believes that Celtic will be something different from each one of them.

"I’m sure it will be a different test to what we came up against in the States."

Tottenham will kick off their domestic campaign against West Ham United on 16th August at Upton Park.
