Inter midfielder Saphir Taider has confirmed he is on the way to English Premier League side Southampton.

The Saints, who have seen a number of player departures this summer, are set to sign the Algeria international in a deal which will see troubled striker Pablo Osvaldo head the other way.

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Taider is on his way to St. Mary's and now the player has followed suit.

"Will sign with Southampton", he wrote on his Twitter account.

Taider only joined Inter last summer, switching to the side from Bologna.
