Hellas Verona have completed the signing of left-back Antonio Luna from English side Aston Villa.

The Serie A club have snapped up Luna on a season-long loan deal, also holding the right to make his move permanent if he should impress during his year in Italy.

The 23-year-old joined Aston Villa last summer from Spanish outfit Sevilla, but following a promising start, fell out of favour.

And Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has opted to agree to Luna's exit.

The defender, who has been capped by Spain at Under-16, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level, is a product of Sevilla's youth system.
