Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United target Mathieu Valbuena has joined Dynamo Moscow from Marseille in a reported £6m deal.

The French international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the White and Blues which will keep him at the Arena Khimki until the summer of 2017.

The attacking midfielder featured in four games at the 2014 World Cup as France reached the quarter-finals, where they were beaten 1-0 by the eventual champions Germany.

And Valbuena, who also managed to find the back of the net in Brazil, expressed his delight in joining the Russian powerhouses.

"Dynamo have a very interesting project and I'm happy to be a part of it,” he told the club’s official site.

Dynamo president Boris Rotenberg was also pleased with the signing, who he feels can “take the club to the next level.”

"We are hoping that his high class will help take the club to the next level," he said.

Valbuena, who joined Marseille from Libourne in 2006, amassed 325 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 37 times.

The 29-year-old also helped Marseille to win the Ligue1 title in 2010.
