QPR have made an offer of €2m for Guingamp midfielder Younousse Sankhare, in the hopes of tempting him to Loftus Road.

Harry Redknapp's men are keen on the all-action 24-year-old and have identified him as a potential recruit to boost their options in the middle of the park.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, QPR's offer for the former Paris Saint-Germain player went in to Guingamp at the start of this week.

However, the Ligue 1 side view Sankhare as a vital part of their jigsaw and are not keen on selling.

Sankhare started his career in the youth ranks at PSG, heading out on loan spells with Reims and Dijon when he struggled to break through into the first team.
