Colombian left-back Pablo Armero is joining Serie A outfit AC Milan on a season-long loan deal.

The Rossoneri will have the option to make the deal permanent next year if he impresses at the San Siro.

The former Napoli player will undergo medical tests at the club tomorrow and Wednesday before finalising the move.

"I arrive in a great team, I want to find space here and do well", Armero told the club's official site.

The 27-year-old also revealed that he had spoken to manager Filippo Inzaghi, who told him to work hard to secure a place in the first team.

"I’ve spoken to coach Inzaghi, he was a footballer who loved to win, he wants to do so as a coach.

"He’s said I have to work with intensity to give my all and give everything to become a first team regular."

Armero spent the second half of the 2013/14 season on loan at West Ham United, having managed a total of five league appearances for the Hammers.

He has also earned a total of 58 caps for Colombia since 2008, having scored two goals.
