Liverpool defender Martin Kelly is on his way to Crystal Palace after the clubs agree a fee of £1.5m for the England international.

Kelly is wanted at Selhurst Park by boss Tony Pulis and Palace have offered a deal which will see an initial £1.5m paid for the 24-year-old, rising to £2m, according to the BBC.

The defender is now expected to have a medical with Palace within the next 24 hours ahead of sealing a switch to the London club.

Kelly has found his spot at Liverpool under threat following the club's signing of Javier Manquillo, while Alberto Moreno is poised to link up with the Reds by the end of the week.

The 24-year-old will now hope to earn regular first team football under Pulis at Selhurst Park, along with pushing for a regular spot in Roy Hodgson's England squad.
