Brazilian striker Jonathan Reis has accused Vitesse coach Peter Bosz of believing he is Jose Mourinho and insisted a productive working relationship with the boss was impossible.

Reis was tipped for big things at PSV Eindhoven, but saw his career slide after suffering a serious knee injury. PSV released him in 2011, at which time he was snapped up by Vitesse.

But the 25-year-old struggled to show his best in Arnhem and terminated his contract with Vitesse by mutual consent at the start of this year, heading back to his homeland with Bahia.

And Reis has insisted that Bosz contributed towards his departure from Vitesse with an attitude the striker did not care for.

"That man thought he was Jose Mourinho", Reis told Helden Online.

"Always grumpy, never up for a joke, an arrogant person. Look at the photos of Bosz.

"There was never any smile from him. I could not work well with him, he did not understand me."

Reis does concede that his own attitude was less than perfect at Vitesse however and went some way towards contributing towards his unsuccessful time at the Eredivisie club.

"I relaxed too much, especially under Bosz", the Brazilian explained.

"I was cranky because I didn't play much and in training I was doing too little to change the situation. I rarely concentrated when I trained."

However, the former PSV man is eyeing a potential return to the Netherlands at some point, even if that means dropping down into the second tier Jupiler League at first.

"I would even play football in the Jupiler League if necessary", said Reis.

"Then I'll score 30 goals and return to the Eredivisie. If I can finish my career at a nice club like PSV or FC Twente, I'd be more than satisfied."
