Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is sure he has a better side at his disposal than this time last year.

Ancelotti led Los Blancos to a Copa del Rey and Champions League double last season, but missed out on La Liga, which went to city rivals Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid lock horns with Atletico Madrid tomorrow in the first leg of the Spanish Supercup and Ancelotti is happy with his squad.

The Italian has James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas at his disposal, having completed deals for the trio.

"We’ve signed three players who are going to bring more quality to the team and so we have a better squad than last season, but in order to enjoy that quality we have to work hard", the Italian told a press conference.

"This week the competition starts and the team is ready. There are no injuries and everyone is available to play."

However, Ancelotti would not be drawn on who will get the vote to play against Los Rojiblancos.

"I still haven’t decided and I’m not going to say because I still haven’t told the players", remarked the Italian tactician.
