Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has slammed the two yellow cards shown to Aaron Ramsey during his side's 0-0 draw away at Besiktas this evening.

In a game full of pace and purpose, neither side could find the breakthrough in Turkey, leaving the Champions League playoff tie first leg locked at 0-0.

However, Wenger saw his side lose Ramsey for the second leg after the Welsh midfielder was shown two yellow cards, resulting in a sending off.

And the Gunners boss was less than pleased with the refereeing which saw his midfielder handed his marching orders.

"Both yellow cards for Aaron Ramsey are unbelievable", Wenger was quoted as saying by the BBC.
