Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho has been recalled to the Brazil squad after new coach Dunga named a 22-man squad for friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador next month.

The Selecao will take on the Colombians on 5th September in Miami and then tackle the Ecuadorians on 9th September in New Jersey.

Liverpool midfielder Coutinho, who has only one cap to his name, earned in 2010, has been recalled by Dunga.

Brazil’s World Cup winning captain has decided to drop goalkeeper Julio Cesar from the squad and striker Fred also failed to feature on the final list. Dunga has also included four players from Chelsea with Willian, Oscar, Ramires and Filipe Luis all selected.

The Colombia match will be Brazil’s first game after the humiliating end to their World Cup campaign.
