Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is excited at the prospect of linking up with Neymar and Lionel Messi at Barcelona.

The Uruguayan’s four-month ban was upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport last week, but he was allowed to train with his team-mates and appear in friendlies for the Catalan giants.




Suarez made his debut for Barcelona last night in 6-0 friendly win over Mexican outfit Club Leon.

The former Liverpool striker is excited at the prospect of linking up with Neymar and Messi and said that playing with such great players will act as extra motivation for him to perform at the Nou Camp.
 


"It is not just about sharing the attack”, the Uruguayan he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“It's about sharing the dressing room with the squad – not just Leo or Neymar. It motivates you to play with such great players.”

Suarez stressed that he is ready to play in any position for the team and cited the example of his time at Liverpool where he played in different attacking positions.

"I'm ready to play in any position.

“At Liverpool I played on the left and played on the right. When [Daniel] Sturridge wasn't playing I had to cover his position. I'm always willing to do whatever the manager asks me to."
