Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has been the subject of enquiries from several clubs in recent weeks, with one of those sides interested in the 23-year-old none other than QPR.

Coquelin spent last season away from the Emirates Stadium on loan at Bundesliga side Freiburg. He struggled for regular playing time in Germany however and headed back to England this summer.

The midfielder, who had a spell on loan at Lorient in 2010/11, looks unlikely to feature regularly for the Gunners over the course of the campaign and has been linked with a move elsewhere once again.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, Coquelin has been the subject of several recent enquiries made to Arsenal.

One of the interested parties are QPR, who are looking to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes.
