Monaco are waiting for Liverpool to make a move to sign striker Radamel Falcao, with no proposal having yet been forthcoming from the Reds.
Liverpool are searching for a striker, as they aim to replace the 31 Premier League goals scored by now-Barcelona hitman Luis Suarez at Anfield last season, and have been strongly linked with Falcao.
Monaco are aware of Liverpool's interest in the 28-year-old Colombian, with a season-long loan with purchase option mooted to be being prepared at Anfield.
However, according to French radio station RMC, the principality club insist they have received no offer from Liverpool for their striker to date.
Monaco are now waiting to discover whether Liverpool make good on their interest in the former Atletico Madrid man, at which time they will consider any proposal from the Reds which comes their way.

Liverpool are mooted to be looking at offering €15m for a one-year loan of Falcao, with a €50m purchase option then added on for potential activation should he impress at Anfield.
Falcao missed the second half of last term with a serious knee injury, something which also saw him sit out the World Cup with Colombia.
He has since returned to action for Monaco in the new Ligue 1 campaign.
