Leroy Fer has completed a move from Norwich City to QPR, for a fee believed to be in the region of £7m.

The Netherlands international only joined Norwich last summer from FC Twente, but has quickly bailed out following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

The 24-year-old played for Norwich on Saturday against Watford and made a total of 33 appearances for the Canaries during his stay at Carrow Road.

He now boosts the options at QPR boss Harry Redknapp's disposal.

Norwich announced: "The club would like to place on record its thanks to Leroy for his services and wish him well for the future."

And Fer quickly expressed his delight at completing a move to Loftus Road, which will allow him to play Premier League football this season.

"It was always my dream to stay in England, in the Premier League. QPR did well last season to come up and the squad is full of top players, so I’m delighted to be here."
