Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has revealed that his team-mates are eager to make their mark in the Europa League this year.

The Lilywhites take on AEL Limassol in the first leg of their playoff round tie on Thursday and the 27-year-old adds that there is no chance of taking their opponents lightly.




He however insists that his club have a good squad on display this year and have a greater chance of moving through to the group stage of the tournament without any hiccups.

“It will be difficult game”, Dembele told his club's official site.

“We can’t underestimate Limassol. It’s going to be very important for us to get through to the group stage.

“We have a good squad so we have a good chance to do well.

"It would be great to make a mark in the competition. It’s something everybody here wants."

The second leg of the tie will take place at White Hart Lane on 28th August.
