Barcelona right-back Dani Alves insists that his team need to get into a rhythm and start putting their plans to action during the 2014/15 season.

The Catalan giants will be eager to reclaim the Spanish title as they kick off their domestic campaign against Elche this weekend.




And the 31-year-old believes that it is important for the club to come out of the blocks quickly as they start the fight to win the title. He also feels that his club need to seize every moment and continue to improve as the season progresses.

"We do need to get into rhythm, because that’s how you seize the moment and improve", Alves told his club's official site.

"Teams that want to win titles always want to improve.

"The basic thing is to have an idea, and we have one. Now we just have to put it into action."

Speaking about new recruits such as Luis Suarez and Thomas Vermaelen, Alves added that all are world class players and will do what is expected of them by the club.

"The new players need to do what is expected of them. And I’m sure they will, because they’re great players and have the same desires that we do”
