Laurent Blanc is sceptical over whether his Paris Saint-Germain side will move to sign Angel di Maria, following Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirming the winger wants to quit the Bernabeu.

Ancelotti revealed earlier today that the Argentina international has rejected a new contract offer at Real Madrid and indicated he wants to head elsewhere.

PSG have been linked with Di Maria throughout the summer, but the club's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has declared the winger too expensive, especially in light of the club trying to adhere to UEFA's financial fair play rules, which mean their wage budget cannot increase from its current level of €237m per year.

Manchester United are also in the race for the former Benfica man and Blanc's words suggest the Red Devils are likely in pole position for Di Maria.

"I don't think so", he said at a press conference today, when asked about a potential move to PSG for Di Maria.
