Marcos Rojo believes he has joined the biggest club in the world in Manchester United, but has vowed to continue working to improve as a player.

The Argentina World Cup star saw his switch to Old Trafford confirmed last night, with Manchester United paying Sporting Lisbon a fee of €20m for his services.

And Rojo, who has penned a five-year deal with Manchester United and has been handed the number 5 shirt, has struck a delighted note.

"I'm very happy as this is a big step forward in my career and it's amazing to be joining the biggest club in the world", he explained to MUTV.

However, despite having reached the level he wanted to reach, Rojo is not considering slowing down his quest to continually improve as a player.

"I think the most important thing is that I keep growing as a player and keep improving.

"I have worked really hard for this opportunity and now I am at the biggest club in the world and I want to win trophies."

Rojo also promised the Manchester United fans they will see a very determined player in action.

"I always give everything I have in a game and I leave everything out there on the pitch. I play each game as if it could be my last. That's the most important thing in my philosophy."
