Mario Balotelli is bidding farewell to his AC Milan team-mates in a sign his is certain of his move to Premier League giants Liverpool.

AC Milan have agreed a €20m fee with Liverpool to sell Balotelli, with the striker's agent now in London for talks with the Reds over his client's contract.



Balotelli announced when he arrived at Milan's training base this morning that it would be his last day at the club and his words are quickly coming to pass.

According to Sky Italia, Balotelli is now bidding farewell to his team-mates and speeding towards the Milan exit door.

 


Now all eyes are on exactly how soon Liverpool can complete the transfer, with the focus on Monday's match against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

If Balotelli joins Liverpool in time, he could make his debut for the Reds against his old club on Monday, Manchester City having sold him to Milan in January 2013 for €20m.

Liverpool had also been considering free agent Samuel Eto'o, but have instead opted to move for Balotelli.
