Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has waved away talk of an exit for defender Alvaro Dominguez, who has been linked with Liverpool and Galatasaray.

The former Atletico Madrid star has been mooted as being ready to move on from Borussia-Park this summer, but yesterday claimed to have left matters in the hands of his agent.



Now Eberl has spoken out as chatter Liverpool and Galatasaray want the Spaniard continues to grow.

"There is no offer", he explained to German magazine Kicker, when asked about Dominguez.

 


"Moreover, a sale is not a topic we are discussing", the sporting director added.

Dominguez moved to Gladbach from Atletico Madrid in 2012, but is believed to be unsettled at the Bundesliga outfit.

The defender spent time in Real Madrid's youth ranks at the start of his career, before joining crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid, where he made his senior breakthrough.

Dominguez has won two senior Spain caps.
