Mario Balotelli is set to step on a plane heading for England after agreement was reached over personal terms with Liverpool by his agent Mino Raiola.

Liverpool agreed a €20m fee with AC Milan for the striker yesterday, with his agent instantly starting talks over personal terms at a meeting in London with Reds officials.

The talks were described as positive when breaking up yesterday and then resumed this morning, with the final details quickly ironed out.

Now, according to reports from Italy, Balotelli will board a private jet at 13:00 CET and be on his way to England, where at some point either today or tomorrow, he will undergo a medical with Liverpool.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is at present signing off the transfer at the Italian club, penning the contract which Liverpool will then sign once Balotelli has passed his medical, while Rossoneri owner Silvio Berlusconi is due at Milanello at 14:00 CET.

The striker will not be registered by Liverpool in time to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Monday, but could make his debut the following weekend away against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Milan signed Balotelli from Manchester City in January 2013 for €20m and scored 12 goals in his first 13 Serie A games for the Rossoneri.
