Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will not be drawn on commenting on his club's bid to sign Mario Balotelli from AC Milan, but is confident that no player who arrives will disrupt the dressing room at Anfield.

Balotelli is currently en route to Liverpool to undergo a medical, after the Reds agreed a €20m fee with AC Milan for the Italy international.

Rodgers has been hunting for a new striker following Liverpool's sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona earlier this summer, with the Uruguayan's 31 Premier League goals to replace.

But Rodgers will not be drawn into talking about Balotelli until he has signed on the dotted line.

The Liverpool manager told a press conference: "I can categorically tell you that I can't speak about it, or anything until the player's signed.

"If we sign anyone I will speak at length about him."

Rodgers did though go some way to denying suggestions that Balotelli is being asked to sign up to a number of specific behaviour clauses.

"No specific one [clause] for any one individual.

"We've got a fantastic environment and great culture and over the last two years it's been important for us to create and build here.

"So there will be nothing that will shake that up in any way."
