Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan has revealed that he would have loved to play for Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side.

The Turkish international has won a league title and a Europa League, amongst various other honours, at Atletico Madrid since joining the club in 2012.

The 27-year-old, who has made 131 appearances for the Spanish champions, has been one of the cornerstones of the club’s success in the last few years.

Turan admits that he has enjoyed his time at the Vicente Calderon and played with some great players.

However, the Turkey said that if he had the opportunity to play for one more team then he would have loved to play for Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side, which dominated Spanish and European football from 2008 until 2012.
