Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists that there is absolutely no truth in reports relating to Danny Welbeck leaving the club.

The England striker has been linked with a move out of Old Trafford this summer and it has been claimed Van Gaal has told him he can leave.

However, the Dutch manager insists that there is absolutely no truth in the reports and Welbeck is happy at the club. He also stated that the 23-year-old has already spoken with him about his future and there is no uncertainty.

Van Gaal also slammed the reports, which he adds are purely based on guesswork and nothing else.
