West Ham boss Sam Allardyce believes that their coming Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace will be tough for his team.

The Hammers had a poor start to the season, losing their opening match 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The match against Keith Millen's side will therefore be an important one for the team as they look to add their first points to the table.

West Ham lost both their matches against the Eagles last season and given their track record, Allardyce is apprehensive about how difficult the match is.

"I think they have some better players than last season but they very much stick to the same type of structural organisation", Allardyce was quoted as saying by ITV.

"We didn't beat them last year and it will be just as difficult, if not more so, with the players they've brought in

"The new players have lots of Premier League experience and from that point of view we'll have a tough job.

"There's still lots of excitement around the ground and the stadium, the players know their position now, they know what their job is"

Crystal Palace lost their former manager Tony Pulis just a few days before the start of the season and are currently working under interim manager Millen.
