Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado believes he could still end up moving before the transfer window slams shut, despite persistent suitors Barcelona and Manchester United appearing to have backed off a deal.

Cuadrado has been linked with leaving Fiorentina throughout the summer, with the Serie A side admitting they will not stand in his way if a big-money bid arrives.

Barcelona though are closing in on Sao Paulo's Douglas as an answer to their right-side problem, while Manchester United are on the verge of signing Angel di Maria.

And so it remains to be seen whether the pair will still have the appetite for Cuadrado.

The player himself however has not ruled out late developments before the transfer window closes.
