Atletico Madrid new boy Raul Jimenez has insisted that the confidence shown in him by his manager and club has helped him to settle in quickly.

The 23-year-old striker moved to Spain recently, signing a six-year deal with the defending La Liga champions.

He made his official debut for the club during the first leg of their Spanish Supercup tie against Real Madrid, coming off the bench to play the final 12 minutes of the match.

Thanking the manager for his show of faith, the Mexico international added that he is going to do everything he can to repay the club and also try to improve continuously in the process.
