Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he has no plans to sell either Roberto Soldado or Andros Townsend this summer.

The Lilywhites have had a bright start to their 2014/15 season, winning both their domestic league matches and also earning a vital away victory against AEL Limassol in their Europa League qualifier last week. Spanish striker Soldado played a crucial role in that win, contributing with a goal as his team beat their opponents 2-1 in Cyprus.

However, speculation has been rife over Soldado's future, with clubs like AC Milan being linked with a move for the striker. Doubts also remain over whether Tottenham will be able to keep hold of their wideman Townsend, with both QPR and Southampton showing keen interest.

The man in charge at White Hart Lane however insists that there is no chance of him selling either player and they will be crucial to his plans in the near future.

"Soldado is here", the 42-year-old was quoted as saying by ITV.

"I never talk about any player rumours.

"He is in my plans. For the future? Yes. Yes. We've only had two games in the Premier League and one in the Europa League."

Pochettino also took time to speak about Townsend, insisting that the 23-year-old is also part of his plans and will help to make his team complete.

"He is in my plans.

"It is impossible you play or have in the squad only 11 players – you need 24 or 25 players."

The Lilywhites take on AEL Limassol in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier at White Hart lane on Thursday.
