Torino president Urbano Cairo admits that winger Alessio Cerci has asked to leave the club and believes his departure is still possible before the transfer window slams shut.

Cerci is on the radar of a number of clubs, including Arsenal, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, though all have been reluctant to meet Torino's asking price for the 27-year-old.

For Cairo there is still time for that to change and the Roma youth product could head out of the door before the summer market ends.

"The sale of Cerci is still possible and he's asked to leave. There are still four days to go, let's see", the Torino supremo told Premium Calcio.

Cairo is clear however that he is hoping to keep hold of Cerci, despite being ready to sell if his asking price for the Italy international is met.

"My desire is to keep him", the 57-year-old explained.

"Let's see if we can find a solution which works for everyone.

"I am also willing to sell him if there is a suitable offer."

The Torino president also revealed that talks with Milan have come to a close, though Arsenal, as is the case with other interested parties, is a possible destination for Cerci.

"With Milan everything is closed, there were some talks.

"Arsenal? There are several possibilities."

Cerci has flourished at Torino since joining the club in 2012 from Fiorentina, making his senior Italy debut last year and winning 13 caps for the Azzurri to date.
