Manchester United have received bids for Mexican striker Javier Hernandez from Juventus and Valencia.

Hernandez has become a peripheral figure at Old Trafford since last season and things have not got any better for him under Louis van Gaal.

He made only six league starts last season and with Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck all ahead of him in the pecking order, it seems that the Mexican is on his way out of the club.

Juventus have been consistently linked with a move for the Mexican striker this summer, but Valencia are the latest club to join the Bianconeri in the race to sign the 26-year-old.

Manchester United have received bid from both clubs for Hernandez, according to the BBC.

The Spaniards are desperate to sign a striker in the last few days of the transfer window, but the Italian champions have been working on a deal to bring the Mexican to Italy throughout the summer.

It remains to be seen whether Van Gaal is ready to sanction the 26-year-old’s sale given Van Persie’s injury record and Welbeck’s inconsistencies.
