Leeds United will complete the loan signing of attacking midfielder Adryan before the transfer window clams shut on Monday night.

The Whites reached an agreement with Cagliari, where Adryan has been on loan, earlier this month, but still had to do a deal with the player's parent club Flamengo.

Now a deal has been done, according to reports from Brazil, with Leeds set to sign Adryan on loan for six months, with an option to buy set at €3m if he impresses at Elland Road. Adryan is now due to be presented at the start of next week.

The outcome will be a delight for Leeds owner Massimo Cellino, who is a firm fan of Adryan and took the youngster to Cagliari at the start of the year during his time as owner at the Serie A club.

Adryan's agent has promised that "it's alright" regarding his client, while not wishing to be drawn into commenting on the particulars of the switch.

"Tomorrow [Thursday] I can guarantee that it's alright", Reinaldo Pitta told Lance.

"But I'd rather not talk right now, is that a problem?

"But yes, everything has been submitted."

Adryan is highly rated, but managed just five appearances in Serie A last term due to injury. The midfielder is thought to be keen to link up with Cellino once again and Elland Road is set to be his new home.
