The draw for the group stage of the 2014/15 Champions League has been made and a number of exciting clashes are in prospect over the coming months.
Liverpool, returning to the Champions League for the first time since the 2009/10 campaign, have been placed in the same group as competition holders Real Madrid, while Swiss champions Basel are also in the section with the Reds.
Manchester City meanwhile will lock horns once again with Bayern Munich, while Arsenal find themselves in the same group as Jurgen Klopp's exciting Borussia Dortmund side.
Chelsea will clash with another Bundesliga outfit in the shape of Schalke, while Sporting Lisbon also provide opposition for Jose Mourinho's men.
Barcelona meanwhile are set to meet French champions Paris Saint-Germain as part of their group stage campaign, while Juventus take on last season's runners-up, Atletico Madrid.
