QPR have completed the signing of left-back Jack Robinson from Liverpool, immediately loaning him out to Championship side Huddersfield Town on a season-long deal.

The fee paid to Liverpool for Robinson by QPR is undisclosed, but has been estimated at the £1m mark. The 20-year-old has penned a four-year contract at Lofus Road.

Robinson, who had been further pushed down the pecking order at Liverpool following the signing of Spain left-back Alberto Moreno earlier this summer, has been welcomed by QPR boss Harry Redknapp.

"Jack is one for the future. He’s a good young player", Redknapp told the club's site.

"He’ll continue his development at Huddersfield this season in the Championship, where I’m sure he’ll do well."

And Robinson is pleased with the move, which will see him spend time honing his skills in the Championship this season.

"It was an easy decision for me to come here for a new challenge.

"The loan spell at Huddersfield will no doubt serve me well for my future at QPR – I definitely need another season of games under my belt."
