Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has insisted that playmaker Gaston Ramirez and midfielder Jack Cork will not leave the club this summer.

Southampton have seen a number of departures this summer with Ramirez and Cork being the latest to be linked with moves out of the club.

While Ramirez has been linked with a season-long loan move to Spanish outfit Sevilla, Cork has been attracting interest from Premier League side Crystal Palace.

However, the newly appointed manager believes that there will be no progress on that front and both players will remain at the club for the 2014/15 season.

"We need everyone because our squad is not big enough to think about loaning players", Koeman told the BBC.

Speaking about Ramirez he added: "Gaston had a difficult pre-season.

"He has been injured twice, he is still not fit and needs more minutes."

The 51-year-old also took time to speak about Cork, adding that the player "will stay".
