Leeds United are moving quickly to conclude a deal to take young defender Dario Del Fabro to Elland Road.

News of Leeds' interest in Del Fabro emerged earlier today and it appears the Yorkshire giants have been hard at work on an agreement to take the player to England.

Del Fabro is under contract to Serie A club Cagliari, the side current Leeds president Massimo Cellino used to own until earlier this year.

However, Cagliari loaned Del Fabro out for the season to Serie B side Pescara earlier this month; Del Fabro has already played for Pescara in the Coppa Italia.

Now though, according to Sky Italia, Del Fabro is heading to England and will join Cellino's revolution at Elland Road.

Cellino rates the 19-year-old right-sided defender highly and wants him at Leeds.

Del Fabro has been capped by Italy at various youth levels and is a current Under-19 international.
