Liverpool starlet Jordon Ibe has linked up with Derby County on a season-long loan, the Premier League club have confirmed.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been looking to send the 18-year-old out for further first team experience and in Steve McClaren's Derby has found a home for Ibe.

The winger spent time on loan in the Championship with Birmingham City last term, clocking up eleven appearances for the Blues and scoring once.

Ibe joined Liverpool in 2012 from Wycombe Wanderers and has made three appearances for the Reds first team.

Ibe, an England Under-19 international, will now aim to clock up regular first team football with the Rams in the Championship.
