Championship side Norwich City have officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe from Club Brugge.

The Canaries have not disclosed the sum paid to sign the Belgian international, but have tied him down to a three-year contract at Carrow Road, with an option to extend that for a further 12 months.

Odjidja-Ofoe lands from Club Brugge and is a Belgium international with five senior caps to his name.

Norwich boss Neil Adams has been quick to salute the capture of the 25-year-old.

He told the club's site: "He's a player we've tracked all summer with a view to signing, particularly if we lost one or two of our players in the transfer window.

"I'm absolutely delighted we've signed him. He's a versatile and very attack-minded midfielder who can play in a number of positions."

The midfielder will not be available for Norwich's weekend Championship clash against Bournemouth, as he does not yet have international clearance.

The Canaries expect the Belgian's clearance to arrive by the end of the international break.
