One of the agents who handled Adryan's move to Leeds United has spoken out in praise of the English club's owner, Massimo Cellino, and insisted that Cagliari coach Zdenek Zeman does not know what he has lost.

Adryan had been on loan at Cagliari from Flamengo, with the Serie A side also having a purchase option included in the agreement. It was a deal which had been negotiated by Cellino during his time as Cagliari owner.

But Cagliari agreed to end their loan of the 20-year-old, while Flamengo also agreed to a new loan deal, this time with Leeds, after Cellino worked overtime on the switch.

And for Mauro Bousquet, who worked on the deal to take Adryan first to Cagliari and now to Leeds, Cellino deserves credit.

"Cellino was crucial", he told Tutto Mercato.

"Cellino is a wonderful person and a great connoisseur of football. Without him, the negotiating obstacles would have been insurmountable.

"I want to thank him for the trust. It is not easy to work on three fronts, but the clubs were skilled and fast."

And the agent dismissed the fact that Zeman has allowed Adryan to exit Cagliari, promising the Brazilian will shine at Elland Road.

"In Adryan at Leeds you will see an absolute talent.

"[Zeman] did not see [talent] in [Daniele] De Rossi either; he's not a failure."
