Manchester United are ready to offload Danny Welbeck due to the arrival of Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

The Red Devils are taking Falcao to Old Trafford on a season-long loan deal from Monaco for €10m, with a purchase option set at €55m should he impress in the Premier League.

The arrival of the Colombian should see Welbeck slip out of the door, with Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur all options for the England international, according to the BBC.

Welbeck is thought to have been declared surplus to requirements at Manchester United by manager Louis van Gaal.

Manchester United had been reluctant to allow Welbeck to head to rivals for a top four spot in the Premier League, but appear to have softened their stance.
