Everton are keen to land Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley on a season-long loan deal.

The England midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa and he was believed to be on the verge of joining the Villans last week.

However, the deal is yet to be finalised and Cleverley’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain.

Everton are keen to land the midfielder on a season-long loan deal from the Red Devils, according to the BBC.

Cleverley played under Roberto Martinez during his loan spell at Wigan and the Everton manager is keen to link-up with the midfielder again.
