Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that Roma are in line to sign Adrien Rabiot, but insists no deal has been agreed yet.

Rabiot, who has only one year left on his contract with PSG, has been consistently linked with a move away from the club this summer after refusing to pen an extension.

The Frenchman, who made 12 league starts last season, is frustrated by the lack of opportunities at PSG and is believed to be on his way out.

Roma are believed to be the top contenders to sign the midfielder and it was reported last week that personal terms have been agreed.

However, the PSG president said that though Roma are in line to sign the 19-year-old, no deal has been agreed.

He also refused to rule Arsenal out of the race to sign the France Under-21 midfielder.

“The deal with Roma is not yet closed”, Al-Khelaifi told Canal +.

“We're talking with them as well as we're talking to other clubs.

“I cannot say anything about Arsenal’s interest but negotiations are ongoing.

“I can only say that the player will probably go away."
