Manchester City striker John Guidetti has been offered to two Italian clubs as the Citizens bid to offload the Swede before the transfer window closes.

Guidetti is out of favour at the Etihad Stadium and the search is on for a new club for the former Feyenoord man.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Fiorentina and Palermo have both been offered the chance to snap up Guidetti, but it is not clear whether either will pursue the opportunity.

Guidetti spent the latter half of last term on loan at Stoke City, but struggled to make an impact with the Potters.

The 22-year-old was snapped up by Manchester City in 2008 and has been sent out on a series of loan spells to speed his development.
