Valencia have confirmed the signing of striker Alvaro Negredo from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal.
The agreement also contains a mandatory purchase option, which will compel Valencia to sign Negredo on a permanent basis next summer.
The striker only joined Manchester City from Sevilla last summer, but has sealed a quick return to his homeland with Los Che.
Valencia announced: "Valencia Football Club has reached an agreement with Manchester City Football Club for the loan, with a compulsory purchase option, for the Spanish international striker Alvaro Negredo."
Negredo has a prolific record in La Liga and scored 85 goals in 180 matches over four season for Los Rojiblancos.
