AS Roma have placed a €10m bid with Paris Saint-Germain for the services of Adrien Rabiot, who is also wanted by Arsenal.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi earlier today confirmed that Roma are trying to sign the French midfielder, but explained the deal was not done yet.

Rabiot, who has only one year left on his contract with the Parisians, has been angling for a move throughout the summer.

He made only 12 league starts last season and believes that he needs more first team action to further his development.

The Giallorossi have made an offer of around €10m to the French champions for the 19-year-old, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma have proposed to pay the sum over two installments, €4m this summer and the rest of the money by next summer.

However, PSG are still holding out for around €12m for the French Under-21 international.
