Former West Brom defender Diego Lugano has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Lazio, who have been linked with the Uruguayan.

The former Fenerbahce man was released by Premier League side West Brom at the end of last season and is a free agent, able to move outside the transfer window system.

He was recently at the game for peace held in Rome and was asked about potentially signing for Lazio.

Lugano told reporters when asked about Lazio: "No one has ever called.

"Would I like it? I am here."
