Radamel Falcao believes the Manchester United squad is packed with talented players and insists he is looking forward to settling in at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils put a season-long loan deal for Falcao over the line late last night, with the agreement with Monaco also allowing them the option of purchasing the Colombian for €55m if he impresses.

Falcao is delighted the switch is done and has expressed his thanks for being able to call himself a Manchester United player.

"I am very happy to be part of this big club. I’ve waited for this moment during a lot of the year. Now I am a player of Manchester United", he told the club's site.

"Yes, it was a very long day. It was hard, difficult. We were waiting until the last minute but I didn’t lose my faith. Now I want to say thank you to God for this. I’m very happy."
