Former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda is training with French Ligue 2 side Chateauroux following his departure from Trabzonspor.

Malouda, who terminated his contract with the Turkish outfit on Sunday after a falling out with the club's coach, is looking for a new club and can move outside the transfer window system as a free agent.

The 34-year-old was approached by FC Metz earlier this summer, but found no agreement with the Ligue 1 side.

Now he is training with Chateauroux, the club have announced.

The winger started his career at Chateauroux before moving on to join Guingamp in 2000.
