Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen admits he was not at his best in Denmark's Euro 2016 qualifier against Armenia last night, but has taken comfort in his side earning the three points.

Denmark got their bid to qualify for Euro 2016 off to a positive start in Copenhagen, winning 2-1 on the night. However, Eriksen was lacklustre throughout and failed to stamp his influence on the game.

However, the midfielder has written off his own below-par display.

"I lacked a little sharpness", he was quoted as saying by Bold.

"I found the right places, but I did not really exploit the opportunities that were there. I just lacked the final sharpness", Eriksen added.
